III. | Course Description: | A study of operational concepts, skills, and values of communication and organizational behavior. |
IV, | Prerequisites: | Six hours of communication courses including Com. 212 or Com 240 and junior or senior status. |
V, | Course Justification: | Communication is a primary component in the development and stabilization of any organization. During the past fifteen years schaolars in management studies as well as communication studies have combined to develop a significant body of literature dealing with organizational communication. This course offers students an applicaitn of communication theory to a variety of business contexts. |
